Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm29[/bible];[bible]Phili1[/bible];[bible]00Job38-39[/bible]

Recently many believers feel weary in their journey with God. Many factors influence them so they are no more faithful to God even leaving God and bluntly selling their faith.

One of them is about wealth or prosperity. Since they are rich and have a good level at work, they do not put God and spiritual issues at the first and love their work and assets above all.

The verse above obviously states that Rehoboam is a king who forgets of who he is; he is crazy about wealth and prosperity. Since he feels that he is strong, rich, famous, and has power, he left God and does not obey the law of the Lord. Rehoboam seems no more need God in his life.

When we decide to love and make a friend with the world, then we have already against God. Loving this world means loving all earthly things: flesh, desire of the eye, and pride. It is impossible for someone to love God while he also lives in flesh and puts his earthly desires at the first!
