How we act at home may become a test for every Christian, both men and women. It is easier to practice a perfect lifestyle when we are with friends, when we serve the best dishes and wait for credit from others, than to live for Christ in our own household.
Our family notice us every time. They know when we are weak and stressed. Our family recognize whether Christ really lives and flows through us.
If I admit to be a true Christian, I should not be angry, impatient, suspicious, rude, frigid, mistrustful, selfish, or lazy at home. On the contrary, I should live my daily life in the fruit of the Spirit, that is “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control” ([bible]galat5:22-23[/bible]). How the atmosphere at your home might be when you consistently pratice these Christ-like goodlinesses?
It is good to live godly before others, but it is much better if you also live godly before your family.
