Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth

“I love you.” This statement is so familiar to us and we even usually tell these words to our loved ones. Unfortunately, the meaning of these words has recently seemed lost and only serves as mere greeting.
Many people who actually do not know the meaning and responsibilities of those words. But the word of God (1John 3:18), we are reminded to not just be a person who is fluent uttering the words without actions or deeds.
In life, there are many people who need a touch of love. For example, spouse, partner, friend, family, victims and those whose lives are difficult. Indeed, we say love, but are reluctant to make it happens by action.
True love is not about just the word 'to love'. But it's more than to talk about sensitivity, concern, empathy, willingness to sacrifice, sharing, and so forth. Our love is seen by the way we act to our loved ones. Therefore, as Christians who have received the true love of Christ, do we really want to sow that real love to others?
Love is spoken without actions will be tasteless. However, love and action go hand in hand will bring the joy.
