1 John 4:7

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

Atheists usually do a lot of good deeds, and sometimes they do it much better than the believers do. They donate foods, clothes, and many more. However, if they do not know nor admit God, everything they do is in vain.

In the other hand, as believers we may admit and trust in God. Nevertheless, we hate someone who takes our position in workplace, who cheats behind me, who do anything that we don’t like. But if we hate someone, then trusting God is in vain, as well. It means, we do not fully know God and we even do not understand who He is, the invisible One. It means, we lie to ourselves and we convince ourselves as believers who merely attend service regularly.

We worship the loving God. As it is known, He is willing to come the world and humble Himself for the sake of us. Hence, my beloved brothers and sisters, let us love one another, not only because someone loves us, but also when he/she curses, harasses, or hurts us.

So when we talk about love, we talk about God, the source of the love. When we talk about God, we talk about all that He has done to us and what He asked for us. Let us love one another and fully live in such love.

Living in God’s love and loving others means there is no space for hatred, bitterness, and evil to stay in our heart. Hence, let us love one another with the perfect love of God.
