As world financial crisis gets worse in 2010, some executives of a global banking firm investigated by allegations of manipulating their investors related to some infestations they sold. Though it gives a high profitable promise, that firm knows those infestations would find the failure so that no one would buy it.
Trick is not a brand new thing. Jesus illustrates the devil as the one who does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him and the father of lies” ([bible]0John8:44[/bible]). Our spiritual enemy says, “Satisfy yourself as long as you live,” and it just makes us lose the eternity.
Otherwise Jesus does not promise His disciples the luxurious and easy living, but asking them to sacrifice their selves and be similar to Him. After they were told that He would be murdered and resurrected from the death, Jesus says, “Then he said to all of them, “If anyone wants to follow me, he must say no to himself. He must pick up his cross every day and follow me. If he wants to save his life, he will lose it. But if he loses his life for me, he will save it ([bible]0Luke9:23-24[/bible]).
There are two voices directing us to where we should investigate our lives. If we follow the wrong voice, then there is the great risk we should endure.
