I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

In John 16:33, Jesus told His disciples that they would face persecution and suffering, He revealed all the future secrets so that they have a moment of peace when they are dealing with it. Much earlier, Jesus even spoke about the suffering and death that He will deal with.
How can we have peace and keep strong in the face of suffering and conflicts? The key is that we know that God knows and is sovereign over the situation. By expressing the suffering that will occur in the future, Jesus tried to reveal to His disciples that He knows what is going to happen, and all happens by His permission and control, so no need to worry. That is why Jesus said, "so that you experience peace in Me."
Only with Jesus, we can have peace when the storms of life come. Only by being attached to Him, we can see how God works when the turbulence occurs.
So, whatever your problem today, let us remember that God is always with us. We are never alone confronting this life, be strong and let your heart stand firmly because Jesus has overcome the world.
When you face the uncertainty, take refuge on the solid rock; Jesus Christ and experience the the peace even the storm hits you.
