Jim Bakker, a famous televangelist, was fallen in the early 1990. He was imprisoned for 5 years for abusing ministerial fund, and he committed adultery, as well. But in the late November 1996, on the live interview with Larry King, he honestly admitted his mistakes and was grateful because God has made him realized when he was in jail.
Admitting mistakes is not easy. It takes openness and humility. Many people are not brave enough to admit their mistakes because afraid of being rejected or underestimated by others.
One of the signs of maturity is admitting mistakes. Admitting mistakes is a noble attitude. Whether we realize or not, there is a good point of this kind of attitude, i.e. awareness and repent the same mistakes in the future.
