Philippians 3:13
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead
Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm99[/bible] [bible]0Luke20[/bible];[bible]Ezeki2-3[/bible]
Our behaviour is easily indeed deflected by a variety of things that come into our lives. Many people live with incredible speed, 24 hours a day is often not enough, but they ever get nowhere.
Without an obvious purpose, you will continue to have a changing directions, jobs, relationships, churches, etc - with a hope that each change will accomplish the confusion or fill the emptiness of your heart. You think that today may be different, but it does not solve the real problem - the lack of focus and purpose.
Focusing power can be seen in the light. The sunlight which is diffusing only has a small impact or strength, but if we concentrate the light energy by concentrating its focus with a loop, then that sunlight can burn the grass or paper. When the light is focused as a laser, then it can even be used to cut steel. Is not it amazing?
There is nothing more powerful than a focused life, a life that has a purpose. Men and women who have made a big difference in history are the ones who are very focused. For example, the Apostle Paul who lives an influence on the spread of the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire . He said, "I forget what the things which are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead."
If you want your life can be the impact, then be focus! Stop playing around. Stop doing everything. Prune the activity, do the most important. Remember that busy is not the same as productive.
A focused life will bring us to a simple lifestyle and a more reasonable schedule.
