Esther 4:16
Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish
Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm38[/bible];[bible]Hebre2[/bible];[bible]Micah3-4[/bible]
When we read and contemplate the story of Esther, explained on how the struggling of Esther defend her nation from destruction. She did not lost her minds. She told every Jew to fast with her for three days. Then she declared that she would go to the King. She was willing to die for life. Thus started the process of saving a people even with a risk so great as her life.
From her story, there are actually 2 important points that we may get. First, she spends time in discernment in fasting before jumping in full force. She moves into the situation with brilliance and a willingness to risk all to fulfill a calling much greater on her life. She doesn’t rule her life out of fear but out of community and courage.
Second, Jews are saved from destruction because someone put her life on the line and having a heart whose in tune with God. Perhaps she did not know the details of what God was doing, but she was obedient to participate in what He was doing for Jews. Maybe now we are in a similar situation with Esther, taking the decision. Whatever struggles we have, always remember that God will never remain silent on your circumstances if only you dare step according to what God wants in your life.
Belief in the help of God is the solution to the problem of your life.
