For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Many problems and struggles which happen in our lives often make each of us forget to come before God. In fact, every person should properly wait for God. Since everyone who is waiting for the Lord is the one who always rely on God in all things.
Then, why do we have to always wait upon the Lord in this life? Because God has a good plan for us. God's plan is a draft of peace and not a draft of accident, to give us a hopeful future. This is stated in Psalm 12:6 "The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times."
However, we can find many people who are impatient waiting for the Lord and then turn forward to their fellows. In fact, people often break their promises and disappointing. But God is faithful and He always fulfills His promises as written in Lamentations 3:22-23 "Not mercies Lord, are not consumed, because His compassions are new every morning: great your faithfulness!"
We have to own patience and perseverance to wait for the Lord. Patience means not to grumble and rebel against God. We can learn from the life of Israel who failed to reach the Promised Land except Joshua and Caleb, because they were always grumbling, complaining and rebellious to God when they were in desert.
