Respect Your Spiritual Leader

Talking about the weaknesses and shortcomings of others is an easy job. Moreover, when it is related to discussing about our spiritual leader. Doesn’t it often happen, whereas the church gives less respect for their spiritual leader?
Not a few are likely to underestimate, judgment and often makes their ministers as a gossip and interesting topic to be discussed. That is why the Apostle Paul strongly advised that we are supposed to honor and respect our spiritual leaders.
It is important for us to honor, respect and love our spiritual leaders because they have worked hard to serve the church. But let's not 'idolize' them. All praise and glory to God only for God, "He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:30).
We must realize that spiritual leaders are also human, of course thye have weaknesses. Whatever the situation is, we have to respect them, and if their lives had strayed from the gospel of Christ, we are not entitled to judge, that's their problems with God! We pray for them.
As God's people our job is to pray, support and respect for their ministry!
