There was a man and cleric named Gene Getz yielding nice conclusion about management skills which owned by Jacob:
At 30 years old, Jacob never could handle the world-scale duties, as if he did not have some intensive ways which centered to management experiences.
It commenced on Potiphar’s house where he managed all about his master’s needs. It continues to his experience where he was being in jail and eventually had responsibility for all prisoners. 13 years after, Jacob was inaugurated to have authority unto Egypt.
God’s plan for Jacob is concordance with His time. He was prepared thoroughly to finish all duties that God had given. As Jacob had been going through all exams, he had already been ready when God gave him the opportunity. He received the dignity and authority without giving in pride. He was still indulgent and did his duties faithfully and it worked. He had been already prepared well.
The process that he has to pass until he become the second man in Egypt is not easy, even it is really painful. However, he is dealing with its process by having a good heart. It eventually takes him to be a great and modest leader. He can be entrusted to have power and abounded materials. We really need this kind of leader. Besides these, we also need the responsibility and being humble. We also need the integrity. Do you want to dedicate your life and become likes Jacob? The decision is in yours.
The life process that we are going through by good response will make us to be a better man.
