Psalm 19:13 (NIRV)
Keep me also from the sins I want to commit.

Bible reading for a year: [bible]psalm34[/bible]; [bible]0acts6[/bible]; [bible]exodu17-18[/bible]

When I was a kid, I used to ride a go-cart (a kind of car toy) that was controlled using rope. One day, when I was wheeling from our yard, I remembered my parents saying, “Don’t forget to check your right and left, in case there’s a car driving.” But I argued, “Not this time. Nothing’s gonna happen.”

Suddenly I heard tires creaking sounds, a car stopping so it didn’t hit me. When I thought I could disobey my parents’ order, I almost lost my life.

Bible wrote so many examples about people who understood the law of God and yet still chose to violate them. Since he was a child, David had been pondering about the God’s laws while he was taking care of the sheep. He knew that the seventh law damned adultery, but when he saw a beautiful woman taking a bath, he used his power as the king to take Uria’s wife as his. This sin brought him to a fatal result [bible]iisam11-12 [/bible]

Psalmist wrote, “Keep me also from the sins I want to commit.” (Psalm 19:13, NIRV) are you tempted to commit something “just this once” even you know that it’s wrong? Taking a slight look at internet porn, smuggling money from the office account, or covering the truth, those seem like trivial things indeed. With God’s help, turn away from the sins and find the way out that God has provided. ([bible]ichor10:13[/bible]). HDF

Temptations come any time, yet don’t you ever grant what it wants.
