1430Philippians 1:20
according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

By the end of the new year, most people start thinking about what their hopes ahead. Starting from good health, harmonious family, a successful career to a growing spiritual life. But in Philippians 1, Paul gave an example about creating the right expectations.
When Paul made the expectations written in Philippians 1:20, he was not in an ideal situation. At that time Paul was in prison, although he continued to think positive and continued to direct his gaze to the cross of Christ.
Maybe by the end of this New Year, our lives is not really good, but let’s take a look Paul who still rejoiced in any circumstance and continued to look forward to Christ.
Moreover, by facing the uncertainty future, please make the right expectations, so that our life can be the light and salt (not ashamed), and Christ is glorified in every step that we make ahead.
We cannot read the future, but one thing is for sure Christ is with us both now and later, so we do not need to fear.
