Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

According to the Bible, wise men are the soothsayers who come from the East or Babel. They were the first men that noted in the Bible as people who were looking for Jesus, the new born King. They came from the East to Jerusalem just only to worship Jesus. The joy filled out their heart when they saw that new born child gave their offerings to Him.

In the other hand, the birth of Jesus brought a bad news to other people especially, for Herod.  This thing must have made him to kill all baby boys who less than 2 years old. He was afraid of the fulfillment of prophecy saying that the new born king would replace his position as king; meanwhile Jesus is not the king in this world, even all of use knew that He is not considered to at all.

The man’s response to everything could be different even if those things refer to the same thing.  The wise men were so delightful so that they gave all of their most high-value treasure; otherwise Herod was willing to kill Him when he knew about His birth. Some people may celebrate Christmas with expensive presents, or they may celebrate Christmas with various ministries in churches, some people are busy having fun in night clubs, however, we can take different ways.

Whatever we do in this Christmas, remember that Christmas is because the Jesus’s birth, although He was not born on December 25. Therefore, Christmas reminds us that there is the Redeemer who came down to this earth from His throne and die for all of us. Please remember for the Christmas by that moment. Merry Christmas.
