Psalm 34-15-18
The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are opened to their cry. The face of the LORD is against evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth. The cry of the upright comes before the Lord, and he takes them out of all their troubles.
Bible Reading for a year:[bible]Psalm23[/bible];[bible]iCori14[/bible];[bible]00Job25-26[/bible]
Still clearly recorded in the memory of each of us the tragic events that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newton, California, United States. Brutal shooting by a young man with mental problems who killed 20 innocent children and six adults who are trying to protect those children.
Why did God let this happen? Why did not He stop? God could have prevented the death of the teachers and children who are innocent. God could have saved them all and this tragic story does not need to happen. But when we are struggling to try to understand and look for the reasons behind these events, still only God knows the answer.
Tears spilled mourn those who go might be able to meet the ocean. Hearts of all mankind has been destroyed and grieved over this incident. Each of us was shocked and we could not still believe for the actions done by Adam Lanza, the actor of the shooting, an act that made no sense and against our logics. These children were born in a superpower country, but they have gone for forever when they actually started their lives.
What we can do is go back to the Father for getting the sanctuary that we need. The Lord also grieved just like us, but He also welcomed those people who died in His presence in heaven. Currently they are together with the Lord forever, and we will remember them throughout the life of us.
God hears our every cry and shout. God also feels pain and suffer just like us. But He is great enough to accept any questions, doubts and anger and at the same time He gave us His peace. Only God is great enough to embrace each of us in His hands and in His wonderful way, guide and strengthen us in through the day ahead.
We must remember the words of Paul in [bible]iCori4[/bible]. That's what we should do now. We have to look after each other as God preserve us. When tragedy, sadness, anger, grief struck our hearts, may we allow our heavenly love is greater than our earthly sorrow.
In the storms of life that devastated our faith, God is still powerful giving peace and providing the convinction in the new future which fulls of hope.
