So Jesus stood still and called
them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?"

The prophecy of end times looks
more and more real. Catastrophe happens everywhere, and people live with
selfish ambition. As the children of God, we do not need to worry about
everything in this world. He has an assurance for all of His people.
However, inevitably there are
many children of God who worry the world in this age. Economy worsens, and human
morality getting damaged. Not surprisingly, many of God's children are busy
with their activities. Stop. Try to look around you. Is there anyone among your
brothers in need? Or does anyone have big trouble.
What is the measure in helping
other people? The Word of God says:
Do not withhold good from those
to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so. (Proverb 3:27)
This is a right measure. When
you can help others, help them. Do not ever withhold good; be the answer—an answer
when they are hungry, an answer when they are thirsty, an answer when they are
in trouble.
What is God’s promise for those
who do good?
Blessed is he who considers the
poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1)
We don’t need a lot of money to
do good. We can learn from the widow at Zarephath who gave what she already
had. Help other with anything you have.
When
you help others, you glorify God. Let us do good.
