Daniel and his Family Have to Walk 2 Kilometers to Get Clean Water

Kemanusiaan

Last October and November 21, Daniel Sibarani's family had difficulty getting clean water for drinking, cooking food, washing and bathing. The well water they used to use was muddy and smelly. This may be because they live not far from the landfill.

This incident made them have to walk as far as two kilometers to fetch water in a small river. But when it rains, they find it difficult to get water to the river because the road is slippery and muddy. His son even often fell and the water he was carrying spilled because he slipped. Finally he had to go back to the river to get water.

Finally Daniel asked for permission from GBI Efata Sampali so that they could take water from a drilled well provided by CBN at the church. Gladly, the pastor of GBI Efata Sampali allowed it because this well was made for everyone around the church in need.

Daniel and his family are very grateful because they can get clean water from this church which is three kilometers from his house. Because it is quite far away, Daniel, who works as a pedicab driver, uses his rickshaw to fetch water according to the daily needs of his family.

Now Daniel's family can enjoy clean water without having to bother going to the river. They are grateful to the Lord Jesus because CBN has provided bore wells at GBI Efata Sampali that can be enjoyed by everyone around.

Because of their joy, now Daniel's children are starting to worship at GBI Efata Sampali. His son is also very happy to be able to learn God's word through Superbook at his Sunday school. Not only worship, his son also invited two of his friends to go to Sunday school together.

It is hoped that more and more families will feel the impact of providing clean water in churches. Let's continue to support this service by clicking below.
