A Challenge for Children to Share Love at Christmas
Event
On December 10, 2021, the children happily participated in the Christmas worship and celebration at the Super Christmas with Superbook which was held online through the Superbook Indonesia Youtube Channel. It started with a beautiful chant presented by Jemimah, Indonesian Idol. Then this event was continued with a drama wrapped in a mini concert that was relevant to children's problems.
This drama tells the story of a child (Trixie) who is asked to give a gift to someone she doesn't like because she often bothers her. In this drama, Daniel explains to all the children that the most beautiful gift on Christmas is actually the birth of the Lord Jesus. Through His birth which was so important to mankind, He redeemed us from sin and saved us from death (Romans 6:23).
Towards the end of the event, the children were also challenged to become a GREAT GENERATION! Children are invited to choose one of the five challenges that have been provided. And for children who have completed the challenge, have the opportunity to get a Book Planner Gizmo!

After almost a month has passed, here are some testimonies of children who have taken up the challenge to become a GREAT GENERATION.
1 Reginna Clarissa Bethsheba Pobas (11 years old) - Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia Ekklesia Pontianak
At this Christmas moment, she chose to do a challenge to invite her father and mother to share food with people in need. She did it because she thought it was beautiful to share love with people in need. Especially during an ongoing pandemic like now, it must have an impact on some people.
'This Christmas moment, I want to invite my father and mother to share love because God has come for me and all of us,' she told Superbook.
2 Akwila Shalom Astrigo (12 years old) - Gereja Jemaat Allah Anugerah Ngareanak, Kendal
Just like Reginna, Akwila also chose the challenge of inviting her father and mother to share food with people in need. The reason she chose the challenge was that after learning God's love for sharing, she was motivated to do it.
3 Johan Christanto Halim (10 years old) and Juan Christian Halim (10 years old) - Gereja Bethel Indonesia Agape Pekalongan
At this Christmas moment, they chose to do a challenge to clean up the garbage in the drains around the house with their parents. They want to learn to care more about the environment around them. If the environment around the house is clean, then everyone will be healthy. No more fighting and blaming each other for dirty surroundings.
