Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life (John 3:16). And after we believe and become His people, He wants us to grow up in Christ (Hebrews 12:2). In this process, we absorb the culture, thoughts, and values of the kingdom of God. For this reason, God's word must be the foundation of our faith. When we are rooted and always connected to the heart of God, then our lives will be able to have an impact on our family and others.
In Psalm 78 written, discipleship starts in the family. For this reason, parents must teach God's word and all His truths to their children from the time they are in the womb. The goal is for our children to believe and keep God's commandments.
God wants us to teach His word from generation to generation because He places great priority on generations of children. Let's in this new year, focus on preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God in our families. So that our generations of children and even our great-grandchildren will continue to be rooted in God and be able to pass down the truth of God's word from generation to generation.
God Bless.
