I come from a simple family. My mother and father's income is only enough for daily life, but our family can't afford to buy a water pump. We had to draw water from wells at home for our daily needs. Our house's well is not well maintained and has no roof. Wells are often dirty because of fallen leaves from trees and small animals that get into them, so the well water smells bad.
The last few months, our well smelled because of the toilet drain water flowing into the well. This makes it difficult for us to do activities such as cooking, bathing, and washing because the water cannot be used.
At first my mother went to the neighbors to fetch water because they use PDAM water, so the water is clean to use. However, because I often took water from my neighbors, my family's relationship with the neighbors was not good.
We are reminded of the clean water program from CBN and the Obor Berkat Indonesia which has been accepted by GBI Efata Sampali. My mother finally came there to ask permission to take water from the drilled well. It turned out to be allowed because this well was built for people around the church who need clean water.
Praise the Lord! Thanks to the well in this church, we can use the water for our daily needs. Thank you CBN Partners who have supported the procurement of this well, God bless.
