Transforming Early Childhood Character through Holistic Support

The lack of holistic character education support at home, school, or in the social environment often leads children to becoming fearful, angry, destructive, shy, rude, or prone to lying. Therefore, it is important for children to receive holistic support to ensure their overall growth and development.
Up until now, Super5 have been working hard to answer this challenge. Together with hundreds of Early Childhood Education centers across the country, we have witnessed how children continue to grow holistically, with Super5 providing a curriculum that helps children grow in every aspect of their lives—spiritual, intellectual, and character development.
Gabrial, a student from the Super5 Ekklesia Airkom Kupang Early Childhood Education, has shown a change since joining the school. Previously, the 4-year-old, familiarly called Gabi, was a sociable person. He was mostly quiet and shy. But interactive play activities and hands-on lessons they participated in encouraged Gabi to gradually become more active.
For Gabi, the lesson theme 'Getting to Know the Plants in My Area' was the turning point to make him become a more active child. He started to get involved in planting, nurturing, and harvesting, which made him become caring about surrounding and willing to interact with his friends.
'Now he is more active, diligent, and confident. He also quickly grasps lessons, especially when learning about plants,' shared his teacher, Karina.
