Living an Extraordinary Life

Pesan Bulan Ini

Shalom!

Did you know that many of us are living mediocre life? The Book of Revelation describes it as being lukewarm—just accepting the status quo, satisfied with salvation, and being a mediocre Christian. But you need to know that God did not call us to live mediocre lives. He called us to be extraordinary!

Wayne Cordeiro, a servant of God, had an interesting experience. One day, while walking along the road in front of a cemetery near his home in Hawaii, the Holy Spirit spoke to him, saying, “This is the most expensive land in Hawaii.” Initially, he was puzzled, thinking, “It’s just a cemetery. What’s so valuable about this place?” But then God gave him the understanding that buried there were divine potentials that were never explored and maximized.

CBN partners, each of us—whether a father, mother, husband, wife, child, servant of God, or minister—is called to an extraordinary purpose. There is divine potential that God has planted within us, which we must take seriously and cultivate. That’s why God has poured His extraordinary power, the Holy Spirit, into us, to lift us from ordinary to extraordinary. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

You and I are clay vessels filled with God’s glory (2 Corinthians 4:7) and equipped to fulfill His purpose. When you are willing to pursue that purpose, He will shape your faith and propel you to accomplish extraordinary things. Your ministry, family, and work will become channels to bring the Kingdom of God to the world.

It's time to pursue God’s purpose while we still have the opportunity.
