With just an ID and a personal identification card, the process for accessing these loans seemed effortless. 'As long as the ID is submitted, with an office address, and the income meets the loan requirements, the money is in the account within one or two hours.'
Without realizing it, the debt from one loan to another kept escalating, while her salary was no longer enough to cover the payments. Finally, payments fell behind, and the threats and harassment began. Not only was she panicked, but Mrs. Christina also fell into severe depression.
Thoughts of suicide began to consume her. In her mind, the only way to end the debt was through death. 'Every night, the temptation of suicide was incredibly strong.' Then a glimmer of hope emerged, marking the beginning of her recovery; she received support from a spiritual leader who encouraged her to join financial mentoring. Slowly but surely, this support brought Mrs. Christina break free from the trap of online loan debt.
The valuable experience she gained now motivates Mrs. Christina to support others facing similar issues. A strong message she frequently shares with every person she mentors is, 'Stop living in debt because debt does not solve problems!'
