Starting With a Makeshift Curriculum, ECCE Gratia Takes a Step Forward with Super5

Super5

Far away in West Kalimantan, Early Childhood and Care Education (ECCE) Gratia Sebetuk began its journey with many limitations. With determination and a makeshift curriculum from the internet, they try to provide the best education for 26 children aged 3-6 years. However, after a year of running, the results have not been optimal.

Super5 curriculum brought new hope to ECCE Gratia. Mrs. Resti, the founder of ECCE Gratia, confidently embarked on a major transformation with the Super5 curriculum for the 2022-2023 school year.

Training from CBN broadened the teachers' minds. Their enthusiasm for learning never waned, even in the midst of limited signal and facilities. Every child is also enthusiastic to learn with Super5 videos and showing rapid development in character and spirituality; those who were once afraid to pray now bravely lead prayers, those who were lazy to study became diligent, and they helped each other. Mrs. Resti said, 'We feel increasingly enriched because CBN continues to support us through the training they provide.'

The transformation at ECCE Gratia continued. At the end of 2023, they achieved a B Accreditation. 'We feel that with Super5 we can move forward one step further. It turns out that the only ones implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in our area are only two schools, and one is ECCE Gratia, while others are just hearing about the socialization,' said Mrs. Resti.

The story of ECCE Gratia is just one of many examples of transformation made possible by Super5. Now, we are partnering with 460 ECCE Super5 across Indonesia and bring quality Christian education to children aged 0-6 years.

Let's continue to invest in the future of Indonesian children.
