Charles' Moving Story: From Lost and Resentment to Forgiveness

With your loving support, Superbook Sunday School discipleship program has been a blessing to many children across Indonesia, including Charles, a 12-year-old boy from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.
Charles is the third of five siblings raised in a modest family. To fulfill his desire to buy a mobile phone, Charles refrained from buying snacks and saved his money in a piggy bank. Unfortunately, the piggy bank he had worked so hard to collect for over a year was stolen and broken into by his playmate.
Charles burst into tears when he found his piggy bank cut open and empty. Since then, he harbored deep resentment.
However, during the Super Easter event, Charles felt God's love, and his heart was transformed. The Superbook animation 'The Greatest Love' brought him a new understanding of love and forgiveness. He learned that Jesus had forgiven sins, and he too needed to do the same by forgiving his friend. The good news is, Charles is now playing with his friend again. 'I want to forgive him because God teaches us to forgive,' said Charles.
