The Spirit of Family Togetherness at the Launching of the Parenting Project
Event
Thanks to the support and participation of CBN Partners, the launch of The Parenting Project through the CBN Family Run event in 17 cities went smoothly in June 2024. More than 4,500 participants, including church leaders, families, CBN staff, and the public, took part.
At the event we held specifically at Gelora Bung Karno on Saturday, June 22, 2024, we witnessed the spirit of togetherness and family unity. Not only did they celebrate in a healthy way, but it also became a moment to strengthen relationships among church communities in line with the theme of the CBN Family Run, 'We Are One.' This was clearly reflected through the cheerful smiles of the children, the joyful laughter of the parents, and the enthusiasm of the participants throughout the event.
Mark McClendon, Chairman of the CBN Indonesia Foundation, shared his joy over the enthusiasm and unity displayed during the launch of 'The Parenting Project.' He remarked, “Today, we are specifically launching The Parenting Project as well. We want parents to hear and know about The Parenting Project. Many pastors and church leaders also attended today, and they are increasingly encouraged to focus on families.”
We are grateful that the launch of The Parenting Project marks a new milestone for CBN, especially on its 25th anniversary. Through this parenting education program, together we are building healthier, stronger families that live in unity.
