I Prayed God Gives Me the Humility to Forgive | Samuel
After learning about 'Second Chances' in the Superbook curriculum, 11-year-old Samuel from Denpasar, Bali learned to forgive his senior who often called him names. Inspired by Stephen's story, Samuel prayed for God to teach him how to respond to bullying appropriately and to have the humility to forgive. Praise God, his senior never bullied him again.
Even Though I Had the Opportunity to Get Back at My Friend Who Bullied Me, I Chose to Forgive | Yoris
Yoris, an 11-year-old boy from Sentani, Jayapura, was often bullied because of his small stature. However, through the Superbook Sunday school lesson about Prophet Elisha, he learned to forgive. From Prophet Elisha, he learned not to retaliate even though he had the opportunity to do so.
I Forgave My Friends Like Joseph Forgave His Brothers | Silvi
Silvi (11 years old) suppressed her anger at her friends' actions. They not only bullied her by snatching her school bag, hiding her pencils, and pulling her hair, but they also made fun of her father's name. Praise God! The Sunday school service at her church in the Mentawai Islands helped Silvi release that pent-up anger. She learned from the story of 'Joseph the Dream Interpreter' not to repay evil with evil. Instead, she chose to pray for her friends.
