Christmas Drama 'The Messenger' Brought Miracle to ECCE Super5 Victory

Super5, along with several of its Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) partners, successfully celebrated Christmas with children in December 2023 through the musical drama 'The Messenger'. ECCE Super5 Victory from Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPdI) Bethlehem in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, witnessed how their children experienced the magic of Christmas through this musical drama.
This Christmas celebration was held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, and became a moment for children to bravely as messengers of the birth of Jesus to their friends and parents. Cherry, one of the teachers at ECCE Super5 Victory, admitted how difficult it was to organize and train 5-year-old children to perform in the drama. Because of the patience, enthusiasm and support of the teachers and help from the parents, each child's potential developed. Children who were initially shy and lacked confidence, eventually performed very well.
Cherry said, 'I always tell them, 'Little ones, you are not just chosen by us, but chosen by God as His messenger. So you must really be able to convey the message of the birth of Jesus.'
Chio, one of the message bearers, successfully amazed all the teacher and parents. Although initially doubted because he was very quiet and shy, he eventually emerged as a brave shepherd.
'Chio was the one I doubted the most because he couldn't speak, but thank God his parent teaches him at home so he had the courage to perform. Even the parents were also a bit hesitant, but after the children performed, they were very happy and proud,' Cherry said.
Their participation in this event was not just a Christmas celebration. Cherry witnessed the miracle of Christmas happen to each child, where their potential was unleashed and their character transformed!
