Finishing 2023 with Excellence

Peace Be Upon Us All!
We will finish the year 'Fearless Faith' with EXCELLENCE, as God reminds reminds us to serve without fear, for He is with us, even to the end of the age! God intends for us to live victorious lives. His Spirit fills us and strengthens us so that we are able to live out His Word at all times. Therefore, as we do all activities and celebrations with family at the end of this year, every CBN partner is filled with gratitude and kept fire in faith!
2 Corinthians 9:8 says, 'And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.' Notice here that God promises to provide everything we need to live abundantly in all things. He does not promise to give us everything we want! Instead, the Word of God reminds us that believers should always have an aboundance in doing good and being a blessing to others.
So, what can make us fail to live according to this truth? I count at least three things that can easily cause us to stumble during this Christmas season:
First, worrying about things beyond our control. We start worrying about things we cannot control—what people are saying, political events, stock market fluctuations, and so on, until finally the worries starts to gain power in our minds and hearts, and often, we refuse to surrender these things to God, because we enjoy the sensational drama in our minds.
Second, desiring things we do not yet possess. The world is diligent in offering everything we don't have. Gratitude for God's provision is replaced with grumbling, complaints, and dissatisfaction. We become obsessed with achieving the status, position, luxury, and the comfortable life that we see in others.
Third, dwelling on the past or the future. Our past cannot be changed, and our future cannot be controlled. What we can do is manage our time, thoughts, and words to become sons and daughters who please our Father.
As a blessed CBN partner, at the end of this year, let us believe in God's promises for ourselves and our families, that we will have enough in all things and even aboundant in every good work. You have taken a good step by sowing with us, and your sowing has brought about life transformation for many children we serve. They thank God for your kindness. An excellence way to end this year is by giving and sowing! Allow God to use your life to bless others who are praying for miracles and blessings. As partners, we welcome and are grateful if you choose to give through CBN. Praise God! I pray that each of your sowing will produce a multiplied harvest.
