Shalom and Peace be upon all CBN Partners
I would like to share God's Word from Romans 12:11, “Don’t hesitate to be enthusiastic—be on fire in the Spirit as you serve the Lord!”
Did you know that man's tendency to sink into the comforts and conveniences of the times can make us forget to carry out His 'divine mandate'. Meaning the comforts that the world sells for and continues to offer could eventually become our enemy. We are His messengers, nothing else. Who are His hands and feet, who is an extension of God's tongue for families, churches and communities, if not us? If we end up sedated with all the conveniences that the world has to offer, then surely God's voice is dimmed in our homes, and in our world.
That's why we need to keep the fire of our spirit burning. What should we do to keep it on? The Lord Jesus said to His disciples, 'The Word I give you is Spirit and is life.' Our faith is built from reading His Word. In today's experience, the experience of almost all of us, scrolling on social media becomes substitute information that continues to bombard and occupy our minds.
We must go back to the Bible! If you can, I recommend reading the Bible, and praying that God will rekindle the fire of our spirits. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to speak, rebuke us and straighten the way again for our feet so that “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. (Hebrews 12:13).
Dear CBN partners, awaken the fire of our spirits and continue to serve God, our church and community without getting tired!
