In celebration of Easter, Superbook is once again presenting Super Easter. This time, Superbook is challenging Sunday school children to become leaders in the Superbook Watch Party event. The way it works is that children will lead the screening of the Superbook Greatest Love animation video at their homes or churches.
More than 1000 churches have already registered to participate in the Superbook Watch Party event, which will take place from April 1-17, 2023. Through this event, churches have the potential to cultivate new missionary-minded leaders.
Here are the testimonies from leaders and participants of Superbook's Greatest Love Animation Watching event:
1. Vanny as Super Easter Leader
'I'm actually very nervous. I've rehearsed this Super Easter three times at church. But I still feel nervous. Before the start of the event, I was invited to pray by a Sunday School teacher. Then I came forward. Praise God! I in front suddenly got courage. The longer it gets, the more exciting! I am grateful to be given the opportunity to be the leader of the Easter Super event. I longed to serve God more, even though the front was still not perfect. But Super Easter just now can go smoothly. Praise God!' Vanny's first experience as a leader in Super Easter.
2. Simon Christian, Super Easter Participant
'When I watched the Superbook video of the Greatest Love, I felt sad when I saw the Lord Jesus suffering on the cross. The Lord Jesus was so kind to me, He was willing to endure the pain of being tortured for me. I felt goosebumps watching the video just now. It was touching why God would do it all when He was God. But I am thankful that the Lord Jesus did everything so that my sins were washed away, and I trusted the Lord Jesus as my Savior.
'When I was invited to pray with the pastor, I felt very grateful because I would have gone to heaven after I believed in the Lord Jesus. I rejoice in being able to celebrate Easter with friends because the Lord Jesus rose above death,' Simon said.
