11-Year-Old's Repentance Restores Her Family

School of Life

Thanks to the Children's Learning Center School of Life (SoL), Allea (11 years old), repented and restored her relationship with her parents.

It all started with Allea's habit of always going to her grandmother's house after school. It's normal for her grandmother to spoil Allea and let her play with gadgets all day long. Her grandmother's parenting style changed Allea's behavior to become rebellious and rude. As a result, her parents often argued because they found it difficult to control Allea.

But since 2021, Allea has been attending the School of Life Children's Learning Center at GBI Kerajaan Allah Darit in West Kalimantan. There, Allea not only received academic guidance, but the tutors also guided each child in character and spirituality.

One time during a spiritual guidance class at SoL, Allea watched the Superbook animation that told the story of Jesus' miracles. Unexpectedly, the story made Allea long for her family to be restored by God. She honestly admitted to her tutor that she felt guilty because her disobedient behavior caused her parents to argue.

To solve Allea's problem, the School of Life tutor visited Allea's home. The SoL tutor became a mediator to improve Allea's relationship with her parents. An open discussion then took place between Allea and her parents. The atmosphere became emotional when Allea, filled with remorse, prostrated herself in front of her parents and asked for forgiveness. Seeing Allea's actions, her parents also humbly apologized for their behavior that hurt Allea's heart.

Thanks to God's intervention, Allea's heart was changed, and her family was restored. This is a real impact experienced by children at the School of Life Children's Learning Center. CBN is present to serve children and their families so that holistic transformation can occur.

Thank you, CBN partners. Thanks to your faithfulness in supporting us, this service continues to have an impact on the children and parents we serve. Let's spread this story of change to others who share the same desire to disciple the younger generation in this nation.
