Starting out as a Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Surinah (52 years old) was eventually called to become a teacher at Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Super5 Kebun Anggur Nusantara Darit in West Kalimantan. She had no prior teaching background, and academically, she did not possess the necessary competencies to teach.
At Super5, Mrs. Surinah received teaching training. Previously, she was not tech-savvy and even had difficulties operating a laptop. Consistently attending Super5's training sessions twice a week, Mrs. Surinah almost gave up due to the belief that at her age, she would not be able to learn how to operate a laptop again.
Thanks to the support of the Head of ECCE Super5 Kebun Anggur Nusantara Darit, Mrs. Surinah was willing to learn. She first learned how to operate a laptop, and then slowly learned how to use Super5's teaching materials (LMS). 'I followed the training diligently and was also taught by the head of school to handle the laptop. Eventually, I received a lot of knowledge from Super5's training. I went from knowing nothing to knowing a lot,' said Mrs. Surinah.
Mrs. Surinah's skills continued to be honed as she became a better teacher. Spiritually, she was equipped with Christian values through Super5's curriculum. For instance, she realized the importance of praying for her students with faith so that they could grow into better individuals.
'I was taught to pray for my PAUD students with faith that they would grow to be better people,' she concluded.

We would like to thank CBN partners for every contribution made to the ministry of children's discipleship at Super5. We long for more people to share the same burden as you for the younger generation, and you can share this testimony with them.
