Peace be upon you CBN Partners
Combination of media and technology could have created a great leap in the preaching of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). But on the other hand, this technological leap can be a threat to generations of children. We can see from the reality that children will spend more time online than going to church. We can imagine that in the future this technological leap could make our children's generation disappear from the church.
CBN has been sounding this threat since 2015, when I first spoke about the technological era wave that will hit the world. We've been through the first wave and it's happening a lot faster than I imagined and warned. Then in 2023, we are witnessing exponential leaps and bounds in the human ecosystem, from technology and breakthroughs in all fields.
The Church also needs to make a big leap to work on the preaching of the Great Commission. The trick is to ride on technology and media. Did you know that CBN has since the beginning designed technology and media-based discipleship media for ages 0-12 through Super5, Superbook Sunday School and School of Life Children's Learning Center. We will also soon launch a Parenting program for parents. So that the church as the backbone of the discipleship of generations of children and their parents, can use this program to work on the Great Commission in their respective churches.
By 2023, CBN continues to be committed to supporting local churches working on child generational discipleship through a holistic discipleship ecosystem. We will continue to fight for every church to successfully build an ecosystem of discipleship where children and their parents are served and undergo a complete transformation.
The time is very short! Churches need to see this urgent need from now on. So that in the future the church can raise up generations of children who live Christ in him.
