Peace be upon CBN partners,
2023 is the year that CBN declares the theme: Fearless Faith! As we face news of global recession, rising prices, changing economics, and potentials for conflict and problems, God is calling us to look to him. We remember that God's Kingdom is an EVERGREEN KINGDOM. The law of sowing and reaping never stops working, and as we are diligent to seek and serve Jesus, His Kingdom will advance in us and through us!
Fearless faith is faith that is not afraid to face challenges or obstacles, and that trusts in God's plan and purpose even in difficult circumstances. It is a faith that is rooted in the belief that God is always with us and for our good. In the Book of Joshua, God commands his servant to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9). There were many battles God was calling him to face!! There were many obstacles that he had to overcome. God wanted Joshua to stand strong and believe that God is able to bring good out of any situation (Romans 8:28). Even in the face of conflict and adversity, Joshua was to stand strong and not waver!!
Here are three simple keys to having fearless faith in 2023:
1. Trust in God's character: Our God is a good and loving Heavenly Father. When we trust in His character, we are better able to trust in His plan for our lives, even when we might not be able to understand what is happening around us.
2. Meditate on God's Word: The Bible is filled with promises and assurances from God that can build our faith. By spending time reading and meditating on His Word, we can gain a deeper understanding of His plan for us, and by His Holy Spirit, his Word gives us strength and courage to face challenges with fearless faith.
3. Spend time in Prayer: We can take our fears and concerns to Him in prayer, find peace and comfort in His presence, and draw on His strength to face whatever challenges come our way.
2023 is the year that we all must set our face like a flint, rise up in fearless faith, and experience the mighty walls of Jericho crashing down to dust as we celebrate the power of our mighty God!
