CBN Presents For Flood Victims in Two Cities and Cianjur Earthquake

Last October and November, CBN helped victims affected by floods in two cities, namely Sutojayan Village, Blitar Regency and Melaya Village, Jembrana Regency, Bali, and the earthquake in Cianjur Regency, West Java.
CBN Indonesia together with Obor Berkat Indonesia (OBI) was present to distribute aid to flood victims in Sutojaya Village, Blitar, and Melaya Village, Jembrana, Bali. The assistance provided was in the form of basic food packages, medicines, and hygiene kits. Each food package consists of rice, eggs, cooking oil, mineral water, and UHT milk. The medicine package consists of eucalyptus oil, autan, repulsion, paracetamol, vitamins, and itchy ointment. Meanwhile, hygiene kits include bath soap, detergent, and bedcover.
On November 22, CBN moved quickly to respond the earthquake disaster in Cianjur Regency. Praise God, OBI became the first humanitarian team that moved to distribute aid to the victims of Cianjur earthquake. The team and volunteers have distributed aids to the victims in several evacuation points, including in Berenuk Village, Gombong Village, Limbang Sari Village, Mekarsari Village, Bejot Village and Talaga Village, Cugenang District, Awilarang Village, Nyelempet Village and Panggilingan Village.
CBN team has been distributing assistance consist of food packages, hygiene packages, blankets, tarps, and mattresses, which are the most urgent needs of earthquake victims during the evacuation period. Another assistance was medical services for earthquake-affected victims who fell ill due to bad weather. Through the OBI medical volunteer team who participated, the victims received free medical care and medicines at the evacuation post.
