CBN and OBI Collaborating Plantation Program Saved by Superbook Student's Prayer

Kemanusiaan

CBN in collaboration with Obor Berkat Indonesia (OBI), provides a plantation program for underprivileged parents of children who enrolled in Superbook and School of Life discipleship.

One of the families that received this program was of Silvira P. Anggraini Manao's parents. The shared garden owned by my parents and several other people almost failed to be harvested because of the lack of rain, so the plants began to wither and dry up.

Understanding this sadness, the Superbook children, including Silvira, felt sorry and moved to pray for the rain to fall soon. Silvira, along with other disciples, came to the garden and began to lay hands on the ground and pray. After that, they returned to the classroom. Together with the teacher, the children again prayed very fervently.

Silvira said in her prayer, 'Lord Jesus, please have mercy on the plants which our parents have worked so hard to plant. The plant really needs water to live.' Teachers who heard the prayer also believed that God would answer their prayers.

The sun is still shining brightly the next day. However, by afternoon, the sky had clouded up and rain had begun. The children joyfully yelled their thankfulness to God. The rain continued for several days. The farmers' crops grew back, and they carefully cared for them until harvest time.

Peristiwa ini menjadi pengalaman iman bagi Silvira dan anak-anak Superbook lainnya. Mereka melihat sendiri bagaimana doa-doa mereka dijawab oleh Tuhan Yesus.

Dear CBN partners, this is one of the consequences of CBN's holistic discipleship ecosystem services. Your contribution is not only valuable to the discipleship of future generations of children, but it also has an impact on parents and society. Thank you for being a part of God's arm in this ministry.
