This year, CBN back again held a Mission Trip for CBN partners. Through this activity, partners can experience serving the community directly in CBN service area. This time, the CBN team invited 11 partners flying to Nias to experience spiritual experiences in two villages, which are Lawira and Bawomataluo.
This activity, which took place from 16-19 June 2022, left a positive impression on the participants. Partners are invited to perform humanitarian, child, family and parenting counseling services.
Meeting simultaneously in Binaka Airport, we moved to the first village of CBN service area, Lawira Village in Lotu District, North Nias Regency. The Sekapur Sirih dance by the children of School of Life (SOL) warmly welcomed the partners present, followed by remarks from the Pastor of BNKP Lawira and the testimony of the children assisted by the School of Life.
On the second day, activities resumed in Bawomataluo Traditional Village, Fanayama District. The School of Life children welcomed with the Afo Fame dance, then followed the partner activities with the team to serve the children in this village. Mr. Yuri, one of the partners was directly involved in preaching the word of God to the children.'It's great to be involved in a service like this, it really blesses me personally,' said the man who works as a private employee.
Partners and teams are then divided into four service posts. They serve social services in the form of eradicating lice on children's hair, cutting children's hair, cooking classes, and free medical check up.
'I am very happy to be directly involved in serving grandma, grandpa, uncle and aunty in this health social service, yeah based on my passion for becoming a doctor, thank you CBN,' concluded Tricia, the youngest participant among of the mission team.
